Ingredients
- Ice cubes
- 1 part white rum
- 1 part brandy (or Cognac)
- 1 part Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 0.5 part lemon juice
Preparation
Put ice cubes in the shaker. Pour in the rum, brandy, Cointreau and lemon juice. Shake together and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon oil or lemon piece.
History
The recipe is a real classic: it was born in the 1930s. After the 1960s it became almost forgotten but nowdays it's again a popular cocktail.
